OTB stands for On The Button in poker. It means a player is sitting in the dealer position for that hand—right where the dealer button is. This is the best seat at the table, because the player on the button always acts last in every betting round after the flop.
Why is that important? Acting last means you get to see what everyone else does first, which gives you a big advantage. You can choose to bet, check, or fold based on more information than anyone else at the table.
