A double belly buster (also called a double gutshot or double inside straight draw) is a special type of straight draw where you have two different ways to make a straight, but both need a specific inside card. It’s more hidden than an open-ended straight draw and can catch opponents off guard when it hits.
Even though it doesn’t look like a strong draw at first glance, a double belly buster gives you 8 outs—the same as an open-ended straight draw—but spread across two different gaps in the sequence.
This kind of draw is more deceptive, making it a favorite among experienced players.
